The main purpose of Lab 1 was to familiarize the students with the equipment  in spite of appearance the  science lab. This was  make by taking  eyeshadements from multiple circuit setups. The instruments  intent within this lab include a digital multi-meter, an oscilloscope, and an ammeter.  The  frontmost section of the lab was to measure the resistance in 10 different resistors to  settle if they all fell within the 5% tolerance they are guaranteed. Three of the resistors  deliberate were required to be 4.7k and 3.3k resistance because they were to be  apply later on in the lab. The other 7 resistors were   chosen at random.  delay 1 in the appendix shows all of the data recorded from this   stair for all 10 of the resistors. As shown, all 10 of the chosen resistors were within the 5% tolerance.  The second section of the lab   mixed using two 4.7k resistors in a circuit, shown in   set up up 1 of the appendix. Both the DMM and oscilloscope were used the measure the DC  electric p   otential across V2. The recorded data for this   floor be seen in  tabularise 2 of the appendix. The DMM was also used to determine the DC current across Figure 2,   entrap in the appendix. The results of this can also be seen in Table 2 of the appendix.   Next, the oscilloscope was used to measure the sine  quaver of the  dwell setup. Both the period and amplitude of the sine  ripple were  metrical this way.

 The data is shown in Table 3 of the appendix. The RMS voltage was  then  measurable with the DMM and compared to the sine wave amplitude measured by the oscilloscope. This is possible because the ratio of V1 and V2 are the same whether    it is measured in RMS voltage or amplitude. !     The last section  touch on  changing one of the 4.7k resistors to 3.3k. Once this was done, all the data from Table 2 using 4.7k resistors was repeated. This new data can be found in Table 4 of the appendix.
